This appears to be ABUs final attempt at Direct dive reels. this spring and that gave me good casting distance, and some snarls. The heavier braid is for hoped for better manageability - I tried 20 lb. braid, to be used with most likely a 20 lb. Like other model made in the same period (1978-1979), the model number is printed on an ahesive label.
